Analysis of each song takes a very long time, requiring pressing replay over and over again, marking up the musical score, and researching their music. Hence currently there are analyses for only two songs: I Want to Hold Your Hand and A Day in the Life.
I wanted to investigate why these two were consistently ranked first and second on lists of top Beatles songs of all time; their more obvious and comprehensible musical prophecy lent itself to my project.
These two songs are also very different in the sense that I Want to Hold Your Hand is more clearly a pop song because of its repetitive lyrics, whereas A Day in the Life is a ballad whose lyrics strike more importance. In this way, I was able to explore more aspects of the Beatles' music.
As with all Sacred Text Projects, this is just a work in progress, and the hope is to continue to analyze more songs, steadily revealing more of the Beatles' prophecy.
In the meantime, please enjoy!
